Wilderness Skills Program at Earthshine Lodge

Ever wonder what to do if you’re lost in the wild? Join one of our experienced instructors for a fun and adventurous jaunt through the wilderness where you’ll learn to build a debris shelter, collect and treat water, build a fire, and discuss the essentials to make sure you’re prepared any time you are headed out on a hike in the woods. 

Cost: $25 per person Included for guests staying on property (please call 828-862-4207 to reserve your spot or register when you check in)
Availability: Pre-registration is required.
Duration: 2 hours
Ages: Ages 7+ (Children must be accompanied by an adult.)
Other Info: Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for hiking, and bring sunscreen and bug spray.
