Driving Directions to Earthshine Lodge
From Brevard, NC:
- Follow Hwy 64 West towards Lake Toxaway / Highlands.
Once you pass the town of Rosman, you will wind up a steep hill towards Lake Toxaway. Near the top of the hill, you will see Bear Tracks store and a Citgo gas station. - Turn right just past the gas station onto Silversteen Road. (this turn is approximately 11 miles from Main & Broad Streets in Brevard).
- Stay on Silversteen Road for two-thirds of a mile until the road forks in two. Turn left onto Golden Road (there is a small white Earthshine yard sign at this intersection).
- Follow Golden Road for 1.7 miles and the Earthshine driveway is on your right after a small one-lane bridge.
- Stay left at the bottom of the gravel drive, then follow it around the pond and up the big hill past the barn.
- The main parking lot is at the top of the hill, about 1/3 of a mile from the road. Please park in the main lot and the Main Lodge will be up the hill to your left and Sunrise Cottage is to the right.
From Highlands/Cashiers, NC:
- Follow Hwy 64 East just past the Lake Toxaway dam, then turn left onto NC 281 (Blue Ridge Rd.).
- Follow NC 281 for 2.1 miles, then turn right onto Golden Rd. There is a small Earthshine sign on the right side of the road.
- Follow Golden Rd. for 2.3 miles, then turn left onto the Earthshine Lodge driveway, right before the one-lane bridge.
- Stay left at the bottom of the gravel drive, then follow it around the pond and up the big hill past the barn.
- The main parking lot is at the top of the hill, about 1/3 of a mile from the road. Please park in the main lot and the Main Lodge will be up the hill to your left and Sunrise Cottage is to the right.
