Nestled between two national forests, Earthshine Lodge offers an experience that is beyond compare. Our shared border with Pisgah National Forest allows us to maintain a secluded mountain resort feel while being close to all the outdoor activities the Blue Ridge Mountains have to offer, making it the best place to stay in western North Carolina! Whether you choose to explore our 76-acres of surrounding meadow and forest or go off on your own adventure in the area, Earthshine Lodge offers the right amenities to come back to after an exciting day off the beaten path.
The main lodge has 8 rooms designed to provide a one-of-a-kind experience. Built in 1990 from the original wood on property, the boutique nature lodge has all the architectural elements that you would expect from a rustic mountain lodge – stone fireplaces, antler chandeliers, creaky wood floors, and much more.
The original farmhouse on the property, now called the Sunrise Cottage, was built in the first part of the century and is now separated into three unique units, each with a separate entrance.

Main Lodge Common Areas
The rustic wood lodge promotes a sense of community in the bi-level common areas. The full dining area brings everyone together for meals or find a spot on one of the porches and dine al fresco.
Get Back To The Basics
Come back after a day of exploring to tell stories around one of our two stone fireplaces, catch up on some reading in a hammock, or play board games with friends.
Take In The Views
Every room at the lodge has a private balcony, but there are also two other main decks to explore. The covered porch off the main dining area makes for the perfect spot to watch an incoming rain storm while the upper deck is a prime spot for watching the sun set.
