Autumn brings cool, crisp temperatures and a stunning array of fall foliage colors to the mountaintop. Recenter, reset, and reconnect before the busy end of the year rush. We think everyone deserves time to focus on themselves. Our Wellness Weekend is all about providing the time and space that you need to connect with yourself, with others, and with nature. No matter where you are in your wellness journey, we’d like to welcome you to the mountaintop for a relaxing, all-inclusive weekend of yoga, cozy fires in the lodge, nourishing and delicious plant-based food, and much more.
Friday, November 1st
3pm: Check-in begins so that retreat guests may get settled in and relax before the retreat weekend begins.
4pm: Gentle and Restorative Yoga Unwind from your travel and get settled into this beautiful retreat space with a gentle yoga class. Friday’s yoga practice will feel restorative and will encourage you to drop into the present moment, soaking up the here and now.
6pm: Dinner at the main lodge. Chef Coe will kick off the weekend with a healthy and delicious dinner followed by time to relax and gather around the fire pit or sit out on the porch to enjoy the evening views.
Saturday, November 2nd
8am: Morning Yoga start the day by tuning into more breath awareness and into our beautiful surroundings as a mindfulness practice. We will synchronize our breath and movement with some gentle flow sequences sure to leave you feeling both calm and revitalized! This morning practice will leave you feeling grounded, centered, lifted and energized…ready for the rest of your day of treating yourself with loving kindness.
9am-10am: Breakfast served in the main dining area. Greet the day with your morning cup on the porch with amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. After breakfast, continue on your personal wellness journey with free time and space to indulge in moments of self-care.
12:30: Lunch served. Chef Coe will keep your mind and body happy and fueled with healthy meals and snacks throughout the day.
2pm: Guided nature hike, immerse ourselves in the serene beauty of the mountains. This enriching experience is designed to rejuvenate your spirit, awaken your senses, and deepen your connection with the natural world.
6pm: Dinner followed by a community fire circle to end the day through building connections.
Sunday, November 3rd
Enjoy the restfulness and indulge in a late morning on the last day of your wellness weekend or take a hike up to Top Knoll to take in the sunrise.
Coffee and snacks will be out for early risers and breakfast served starting at 9am.
10am: Morning Yoga, conclude your wellness retreat journey with a blissful yoga class, harmonizing mind, body, and spirit. This gentle session offers a tranquil opportunity to stretch, breathe, and find inner peace before bidding farewell to our mountain oasis. Join us for one final moment of rejuvenation as we honor the journey we’ve taken together towards holistic well-being.
Noon: Check-out, start your journey home or book one of our llama hikes and stay a little longer!
Meet Your Hosts and Instructors for the Wellness Weekend
Clare Desmelik
Yoga Instructor
Clare’s outdoor yoga sessions will provide retreat guests the time to recenter themselves while surrounded with the beauty and calm of nature. She trusts in the power of a deep breath and feels that anyone’s emotional, physical, or mental health will benefit from the process of using their breath to connect body and mind. Clare brings an approachable, revitalizing vibe to her yoga classes and adjusts her class to multi-level abilities.
Kate Bunby
Yoga & Pilates Instructor
For the past five years, Katie have been passionately teaching the Pilates Method, a brilliant and unique movement program that she absolutely adores. Her personal practice spans many years, and she simply can’t get enough of it! The integrated nature of this movement system resonates remarkably well with the body.
Colleen "Coe" Raulerson
Chef
Chef Coe hails from sunny San Diego, California. Now, she and her family live off-grid on their small homestead in Dupont forest. They enjoy all things outdoors especially camping, kayaking, canoeing, hiking and cooking! Coe has owned and operated several restaurants and is skilled at adapting her cooking to guests. She holds a plant-based cooking certification and prepares meals that are both healthy and heart-warming.

The Wellness Weekend includes a private room at Earthshine Lodge for two nights and all meals onsite. All programs are optional and included in the price.
The retreat rate is $725 per person for a single room. If you plan on sharing a room with a friend or loved one, the rate is $495 per person. Please include this information in the notes section when you book. We request that you register with someone that you are traveling with in order to use the shared room rate.

2 Nights at Earthshine Lodge – Each guest room comes with a queen bed, loft with two twin beds, private balcony, and bathroom.
Healthy Home Cooked Meals – Prepared by our chef, Colleen Raulerson. Certified in plant-based nutrition, Chef Coe will craft a menu with healthy, plant-based options to keep you fueled through the weekend.

Health & Wellness Programs – All of the programs and activities are included in the rate.
Optional Add-Ons
Massage – Add a massage on to your stay (available starting at 1pm on Friday through the end of the retreat on Sunday).
Llama Hikes – Extend your weekend with a llama hike on Sunday (offered at 11am and 1:30pm).
Wine & Local Craft Brews – Your rate includes non-alcoholic beverages throughout the weekend and a drink with the welcome reception. If you would like to order additional wine or beer, we can add this on your room charges on site.
