Want to bring a non-fishing significant other or friend? They are more than welcome and can enjoy a restful getaway with beautiful views while you are out exploring with your guide. If you would like to add a person to your room reservation who is not fishing, please make your reservation for “Double Occupancy” and then come back to this page to “add an additional guest.”
Price Includes:
One full and one half day of guided fly fishing and fly-tying introduction with Headwaters Outfitters; 1 guide per 2 guests; one wade day and one float day
Private accommodations (private bed and bath) at Earthshine Lodge – single and shared rooms available
All meals starting with dinner and welcome reception on Friday evening through lunch on Sunday
Equipment provided by Headwaters Outfitters, including boots, waders, rods, reels, line, leader, tippet, and all flies

The cool fall temperatures in Western North Carolina make it the perfect time for fishing the local streams and rivers. This all-inclusive, fully guided trip is offered in collaboration with our friends at Headwaters Outfitters. Their world-class guides will lead you on a full day of fishing and instruction on Saturday and half day on Sunday, and afterwards, you will come back to beautiful views, crackling fires, and home-cooked meals at the lodge.
The retreat fee includes one and a half days of fly fishing with guides from Headwaters Outfitters (with a two to one guide to guest ratio), all gear needed for your trip, a private room for two nights, delicious meals starting with a welcome Happy Hour and dinner on Friday through lunch on Sunday. Sales and accommodation taxes are also included in the base rate. Rate does not included gratuity or NC Fishing License.
*Retreats at Earthshine Lodge have a two-week cancellation policy. Reservations cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus 3% processing fee. Reservations cancelled less than 14 days prior to the day of arrival will be charged the full amount of the stay. No refunds will be given for no-shows or early departures.
